Only those paying with cash need to meet the driver when the dumpster is delivered. If you used a credit or debit card when ordering online or over the phone with us, then no one needs to be there when we drop off the dumpster. Please provide any placement instructions when you order.

If you need to add or update instructions for a dumpster that hasn’t been delivered yet, just give us a call during office hours: Mon - Fri 8am - 5pm or Saturday 9am - noon.

Compared to everything that can be put in the dumpster, the list of prohibited items is very short:

• No tires of any kind
• Nothing the EPA defines as hazardous waste (chemicals, oils, corrosives, acids etc.)
• No fire hazards or items that might explode (hot coals or ash, fireworks, pressurized tanks like propane or fire extinguishers)
• No large quantities of mud or dirt
• No TVs or computer screens (though these can be arranged to be dropped off at our Niles location separately)

These materials are permitted in dumpsters but with restrictions:

• Concrete, Bricks, Blocks and clean fill - cannot be mixed with any other types of materials and is restricted to our 5 yard dumpsters only.
• Shingles - cannot be mixed with any material other than construction debris and is restricted to a maximum of 45 square of shingle per load.
